I would say the pages are more toward the thin side. Howevewer, they are not the thinnest pages that I have seen used in a Bible. I can use highlighters and they do not bleed through, but you will need to be careful with the highlighter you use. Some do bleed through. My BIC briteliners do not bleed through.

They are the "regular, thin type pages" that you would find in any average Bible.
