The author recommends using a New American Standard Bible (Updated Edition - or preferably the New Inductive Study Bible, The NISB). This information is out of the front of the books. We choose to use the KJV or the NKJV however, and usually don't run into problems.

This study series contains the texts from Genesis in the back of the book. This text is in the NASB. Periodically throughout the book the reader is asked to look up other texts not in Genesis, so if you want to maintain the same version of the Bible, you should look for a NASB.
