Almost all ages. I would recommend the whole set for teenagers and adults. I would recommend the books "Anne of Green Gables", "Rainbow Valley" and "Rilla of Ingleside" for children, as well as for teenages and adults. Those three books more about children and their antics then the other five in the series. The other five books are about Anne as she goes to college, dates, gets married and has children. I recommend getting the whole series no matter what age group you are buying for. As they get older, they will appreciate the complete set.

The first book in the series makes a great read aloud for 5 years old and up. Even if they don't comprehend all that is happening, they will listen. Our 5 and 7 year old boys thoroughly enjoy it, and request it to be played so they can listen. My 18 year old daughter and I have read the series and have enjoyed sharing thoughts about events and characters. It is just one of those "classic" books that are timeless.
