Mia was old, ugly and smelly - a homeless dog nobody wanted. But Laurie Sacher felt compelled to adopt the poor mutt, who seemed to tug on her heart and ask, "Can you give me a chance? Am I too far gone to love?" Sacher later realized she had been asking God those same questions; that in loving and rescuing a dog, she saw a reflection of God's loving and rescuing her. On this broadcast, Sacher talks about the spiritual lessons she learned through Mia. Sacher is joined by Kim Meeder, the founder of Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch, which ministers to disadvantaged children as it rescues abused horses. Don't miss this inspiring conversation as the two women offer encouragement for those who are hurting in a discussion based on their book, Blind Hope: An Unwanted Dog and the Woman She Rescued.
