This lab contains all the necessary items to complete Exploring Creation with Chemistry's experiments. The first three items listed are necessary, but if they are already owned, household substitutes are given for the other materials. However, this kit is the easiest and most effective way to perform the projects.

Kit Includes:

  • 1 Mass Scale (0-500 grams)
  • blue and red litmus paper
  • Celcius Thermometer (-10 - 110 degrees)
  • 6 Test Tubes
  • Funnel
  • Alcohol Burner w/ Stand
  • 250ml Beaker
  • Watch Glass
  • 2 medicine droppers
  • 1 stirring rod
  • 50ml graduated Cylinder
  • Filter Paper
  • Test Tube Cleaning Brush
  • 50ml Plastic Graduated Cylinder
  • Safety Goggles
  • 100 ml Beaker

    Will the entire kit fit into a standard lunch box for transporting?

    I am not seeing that the kit includes a carrying case. My daughter will need to transport her kit to class each week. I am looking for a safe and inexpensive way for her to do so. Thank you.

    You don't need all of the equipment for each experiment in the Apologia textbook. There is a list of materials at the beginning of each experiment, so you could pick out what you need each week without transporting everything.

    The contents of this kit are contained in a 9" x 12" x 5" box, so you should be able to pack them in a carrying case of approximately the same size.
