The crown of thorns necklace

The crown of thorns necklace, , would you be able to put it on another chain easily or is the way it is held on making it impossible to loop a new chain through?

A fine chain will work or you can add a split ring and that should work as well.

Yes there is a way. My brother purchased & took it to a local Jewelry store & bought a Sterling Silver chain. They added a new ring to allow it to accommodate the new chain.

Once the cord is removed you should be able to place this item on a standard chain without any trouble.

Thickness

How thick is this pendant? I thought I saw somewhere that it was 1" thick, which seems a little too much. Just curious if someone could help me with this.

The diameter of this pendant is 1". The thickness is 5/16".
