Do the lap tops open up???????????
These lap-tops you have. Do the OPEN to store pens ETc? in. They show the top of them and a picture that looks like they also open up like a desk top. But when I read the description it does not mention they open up. This is very confusing to me. Please help. Thank you so much. sherry

No. Don't open.They have wells to place them in.

I would love it if they opened up but they do not. I love mine though and use it when I'm in my easy chair studying my Bible, writing bills or notes, etc. Can't imagine life without it! My son claimed my old one when I bought a new one.

They do not open. It is a pillow with a desk on it. Works great no matter what position your sitting in.

They do not open. There is a place at the top to lay your pen when you are paying bills or addressing cards. I use mine for these things as well as for reading. It is very good to put the lapdesk in your lap and lay your book on it to read.

No they do not open up and the pen areas are very shallow and I wish that they could have been deeper.

No, they don't. Since I wasn't expecting it to, I wasn't a bit disappointed. Might be a good idea, though, for future lap desks.

I think it would be a little bulky for carrying to church and taking notes. It would sit on your lap well but a little bulky for that.

Due to the bulkiness and weight (4.8 lbs.) it may be difficult to get it in and out of your church (depending on the size of your church and parking lot). Once it was at your seat, it would be an excellent platform to take notes and read your Bible from.
