I'm not sure if there is a policy on this. As a mother, what I remember are articles on things of interest to kids with a focus on Godly interpretations of existence, creation, relationships... at a child's perspective. I don't recall actual Bible studies or even Bible quotes though I'm sure they were there. I read many contemporary versions but prefer to MEMORIZE from KJV. Sometimes NIV is easier to understand especially for kids and those who didn't grow up in church or with KJV.

Usually it is NIV or NIrV which is NIV reader version.
