That's a tough one to answer...Your intentions are good,but,it would depend on where she is with her walk with the LORD.If she's already a praying, and believing christian,seeking the GOD of comfort.then 'yes'.. If its a course, you want to start her on, it could be a reminder of her loss.In that case possibly leading her to scriptures of comfort, and peace would be more
excepting...pray the LORD,for His wisdom and direction,in this very difficult time for Her and the family..'this is only my thoughts'..Consult the wonderful counselor.

Yes: it is a lovely sculpture and reflects a woman seeking God in all her circumstances. I believe it would bring her comfort by reminding her of God's presence and that she can always seek Him.
