I believe "TP" means Trade-paper...the type of paper used in the binding. I don't know much about this, but often times the graphic novels (several comics in a series put together) are called "Trade Paper backs" and the paper is good quality. You can likely do a search online for more info on Trade Paper Backs.

"TP" stands for "Trade Paperbacks". Trade paperbacks are sold to "the trade"--booksellers or the wholesalers who supply them. They are usually larger and printed on nicer, heavier paper with sturdier bindings than mass market editions.
