Questions & Answers for Bethany House Systematic Theology: In One Volume

Question

What is the diff between this ed & the 4 vol set? Abridgment? Revision?

A quick look at the page total for separate volumes indicates that the 4 vol set has more pages. (Of course one doesn't know if the print is smaller in the 1 vol edition). Is it an abridgement?

The one volume is a condensed version. I do recommend the one volume as it is more to the point.

answer 2
The appendices have been removed as well as a lot of the historic information in volumes 2-4. When the front matter (copyright, contents pages, etc.), bibliographies, and indexes are combined from the 4 volumes, they take up less space. There is also some additional space savings by having more words per page.
