answer 1
This is a Christian related book in that it contains a story that provides spiritual parallels to our lives, much like that parables of Jesus. In this story, the enslavement of humans to dragons parallels a human's enslavement to sin. Through the series, there are many attempts to free to slaves, but it never works until a liberator comes and rescues those who believe.
That is the overarching spiritual parallel, but there are many other themes throughout, such as love, sacrifice, courage, etc, making this a thoroughly Christian series.
I hope that helps.

answer 2
For one, this book as i see it is christian related. The characters are on a quest to rescue slaves and set them free. If you have read bryan davis' other books you will see that he spreads the christian message throughout his books. But if you think that in some way it is NOT honoring to God, than don't get it. I think this book is very much the opposite.
