Question

Is this a series that builds on each book?

I'm wondering if the books must be read in order. I started reading book #4, Presumption of Guilt, but is this going to ruin the other three books? Should I read book #1 first, and all in order instead, or doesn't it matter which book you read in what order?

They don't need to be; You get to know the cops who handle the case in bk 1 and find out more about them in later books and one of them is a main character later; also the lawyer and guy in book 1 start a relationship that progresses throughout

As I recall, this series does not build one on another.... I think I will pull this series out for a re-read! Love Terri Blackstock!
