Questions & Answers for Thomas Nelson The Heart Mender

Question

Is this book like a "chick flick" in book version?

I was thinking of giving it to my father because of the WWII setting. I don't think he would enjoy it if it is mainly a romance. I read the reviews but it was not reviewed by very many men.

It's definitely a romance story so he probably wouldn't enjoy it as much as some other WWII novels.

Probably look for the Theone's for something in a novel form to give to your dad... this is more romantic.

answer 2
Definitely a chick flick. I'm not sure if the book is set during WWWII or not. Seemed more like a frontier / prairie setting. My dad wouldn't enjoy this book.
