The much-esteemed English translation of this work by Ford Lewis Battles, part of the Library of Christian Classics, has been the primary English translation for the past forty years. Built with Adobe PDF technology, the CD-ROM is compatible with both Windows and Macintosh operating systems.

CD-Rom of Calvin's Institutes-is it an audio CD-Rom?

CBD Stock No: WW231705 I don't have time to read Calvin's "Institutes", but would love to listen to it in my car. Also, it says it is Microsoft Windows Vista and/or XP format. Will it work with Windows 7 and Windows 8? If there is a voice, who is the narrator?

This is not an audio CD, but a CD-ROM with text. The CD-ROM is compatible with both Windows 7 and 8, if Adobe Reader is updated.

The only audio version we have of Calvin's writings is WW446083 "Calvin: Of Prayer and the Christian Life: Selected Writings from the Institutes - Unabridged Audiobook on CD".
