Question

Question about prereq for Physics course

My daughter has taken Biology 1, Chemistry, Algebra 1 & 2 and is currently half way through Geometry. Is she going to be able to get through this course without taking Trig? It says that it is for an 11th grade level. Should she take Biology 2 instead?

My son is taking the Physics course and has not encountered anything that you would need Trig to understand. He says that the formulas are just algebraic.

The prerequisites for this course are Algebra 1, Geometry, and some knowledge of basic trigonometry functions. If she still needs more time she could either take Advanced Biology or Marine Biology.
