Definitely adult. The font of the puzzles is quite small which it has to be to fit into the wonderful size...could fit in a purse. I doubt a younger person could or would write that small. Maybe teenagers. The difficulty of the puzzles wouldn't be beyond them, I don't think.

Yes, thank goodness. I refer to them regularly. I'm not one to go totally by trial and error, don't have enough patience. But with a little help to get started, I love the puzzles.
