Question
Is #2 an actual continuation of Book 1?
I read "The Key on the Quilt" and enjoyed it very much. When I read the description for Book 2 I didn't recognize the names. So does Book 2 actually continue from Book 1 or are these stand-alone books?

answer 1
No - this isn't a continuation, but is very enjoyable as a stand-alone. The only connection seems to be that both are historical novels, and both feature quilts as an important part of the plot.

answer 2
They appear to be stand alone books. I had the same problem when starting the book. I didn't recognize the characters and thought maybe that would be later resolved but it wasn't. Other than a brief mention of the prison nearby - there doesn't appear to be a connection. Maybe book 3 will resolve.

No. Stand alone books. Book 2 involves different characters and story line. Book 2 is absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend this book to everyone
