I'm not sure of the exact weight, but I was surprised when I took it out of the box. It was really light. Someone posted a review and indicated that the desk was heavy, but that is not the case for me. I almost didn't purchase it for that reason, but I'm glad I did. I really like it!

Not sure the exact weight, but it's not super heavy. It's also not too light to where it can hold a book on the edge of a chair. I bought it for my Mom and she LOVES it!

Size of desk
So I'm a Canadian and have no real grasp of inches, and cant find a ruler with inches in my house . Would you say that theres enough room on the desk for a small bible and a journal type note book with out being to squishy?

Yes, I believe you'd have plenty of space for that. The desk top is 42 1/2cm x 32 cm.

I would think that the desk will hold your small bible and a small notebook. The desk surface is fairly large, but not too large for the desk to be bulky. You may want to check the website to see if they indicate how wide the desk is.
