Yes, this is a DVD study with supplemental printed materials that go along with the DVD. It is a four week study and you can shorten the DVD's by cutting out the testimonials if your group can not handle the more intense nature of the testimonials.

Does this DVD use excerpts from the original one only geared for teens?
I am trying to see if this teen dvd will cover some of the material that the original dvd shows only more condensed for time sake? I would like to use this material for a small group setting in a Christian School but we have limited time frames to work the original DVD format into our time slots. Can you enlighten me about the Teen DVD set? Thanks for your help! Sheila

If time is a factor cut out the testimonials which run longer then Kyle's presentation. Also, depending on the ages of your teens and their maturity levels the testimonials could prove too intense for some because they get into issues of sex, sexual identity, drugs, pornography, etc. They are valuable for an older group of teens

Yes, the original video is included. I could not tell you if it piggybacks the adult study because I have not seen the adult study. Participants do not have to have the book but there are recommended sections of the book to read in the printed materials. I would say that if you can afford it have a copy of the books for the teens but it is not necessary to do the study

Kyle's segments are approximately 10-15 minutes in length. The testimonial segments are longer 20-30 minutes in length.

Yes, in my order the leader guide was included and you could print additional materials for your group. I would not say that there is a "study guide" per se, but there are printable materials that can enhance the videos
