Is this a full year curriculum?

My kids are having a hard time following the abeka is this a full year curriculum or a supplemental. I like abeka but would like to find a dvd that could be used in conjunction with abeka?

This curriculum contains 9 lessons. It would count as ¼ to ½ year depending on the number of supplemental activities you choose to complete.

I found that many of the segments in the Foundation of Character have been repeated (they are the same ones) from the other American history videos from Drive Thru History. There is actually a lot more great material in the first four videos about American history than in the Foundation video.

This can be used with other "Drive Thru" DVDs. The DVD in it contains nine 10-minute segments focusing on historical persons that demonstrate particular character traits.

Besides the included workbook, there is not a specific history book to accompany this. Some suggested supplemental reading would be WW78304 "George Washington's World", WW96845 "A Child's Story of America" or WW79453 "Lives of The Signers".

The curriculum is written by David Barton. Dave Stotts is featured in the short DVD clips, which are taken from the Drive Thru History series.
