Apologia Educational Ministries Exploring Creation with Human Anatomy and Physiology

All creation is awe-inspiring, but the work of the human body, created in the very image of God, is especially jaw-dropping! This study of anatomy and physiology showcases the intricacy and design of the human body, from DNA and cell creation to the skeletal, muscular, digestive, respiratory, cardiovascular, nervous/endocrine, immune, and intergumentary systems. I think this is designed for one year but older students could get through it in a semester. There is a timeline/lesson plan in the front of the student notebook journals.

answer 2
We use these books for the entire school year. Sometimes the school year needs to be extended due to the children getting so enthused with the material!!

The book has 14 "lessons" and in the workbook journal there is a lesson plan which is for 2 days a week. It gives you 28 weeks of science if followed. We will be using it for the year. I figure with holidays and such 28 weeks is perfect and gives me some room if we want to expand in a certain area of study or supplement with something additional.

answer 4
You can do either. With older students, it could be a semester. Younger students, its definitely a year. My fourth grader is doing one book a year.

This is designed as a one year curriculum but, depending on the abilities of the student, it could be completed in less time.
