Three professional-size, turret-mounted, all-glass objective lenses (7x, 15x, 40x) combine with a 10x wide-field eyepiece to provide magnifications of 70x, 150x, and 400x for optimum viewing flexibility. Plus, the achromatic lens design eliminates color distortion around specimens. Precision rack and pinion metal focusing gearing and two-way built-in light sources (mirror and bulb) deliver large, clear images. A color filter wheel makes structures in hard-to-view samples stand out. Safety stop prevents students from cracking slides while focusing. This microscope does not come with any additional products. It includes all-glass objective lenses (7x, 15x, 40x) with a 10x wide-field eyepiece to provide magnifications of 70x, 150x, and 400x for optimum viewing flexibility. Plus, the achromatic lens design eliminates color distortion around specimens. It also has precision rack and pinion metal focusing gearing, two-way built-in light sources (mirror and bulb), a color filter wheel and a safety stop to prevent students from cracking slides while focusing.

The Apologia Biology microscope has DIN widefield parafocal, achromatic, color-coded 4x, 10x, and 40x magnification settings. The illuminator base has a 115V 20watt bulb, heavy cord and switch with both fine and coarse focus knobs. The large stage is acid & reagent resistant, with a built in condensor lens and 5 hold disc diaphragm with spring mounted stage clips.
