It is my opinion that this is on a little more mature level than most teenage girls would be able to relate to. The examples Beth Moore uses are based on the life experiences of an adult woman, but the truths in this study are timeless.

This study was designed for women who have some experience and wisdom to draw from in order to relate to the study. However, it is impossible to determine wisdom and experience based solely on age. If you would like to get the study for young ladies, you would need to use discernment to determine if it would be appropriate and applicable for them.

This study complements the book. To get the whole experience, you will need to purchase the book, "So Long Insecurity, You've Been A Bad Friend," as well. Each week 1-3 chapters are discussed from the book and dissected into helpful reflection to help create discussion in the group.

Hmm, I think it depends on how bonded you are with those you are ministering to. This study challenges the reader to expose their insecurities into the light of Christ so that they can become secure in Him. So there will some tough discussions and depending on the group they may or may not be willing to dive into discussion about tough things like past abuse, neglect, etc.

If your prison ministry is directed toward women, this would be an excellent study. As always, we strongly recommend checking out the available sample pages to see if this product would fit your specific needs.

Yes, I believe so. The questions can get very intimate, so there has to be some trust between each other, but this book is best reviewed in small numbers, as it requires a lot of discussion and heart searching.

This study is designed to bring women together in a community of support. While it is geared toward a larger group, when used with the book, this participant's guide would work for a group of two.

What kind of time would you suggest to properly facilitate this book (how many weeks and how much time each session)? Also, is there a DVD with this one?

This 10-week course, designed to supplement the book, would require 1 to 2 hours per lesson, plus personal reading time. There is currently no DVD available.
