yes, it has the words on the screen with the corresponding sound in your ear. You can turn the words/backlight off if you want to just listen only.

Yes you can follow along and read while listening. If you need more time simply click the back button and it will begin to read that verse over again.

FYI it takes some time to charge. I listen to mine coming and going from work an hour each way and it last me for about three to four days. Just know even if you leave it sitting around without using it after a few days it will need to be charged again but charging is easy and can be done anywhere even while listening.

Not sure exactly, but I would say somewhere around 4 hours of continuous use. If you don't use the audio portion while reading, then probably a lot longer.

The battery life is 4-6 hours when using the speaker. It lasts longer using ear phones or just reading – up to 8 hours.

Yes. No more having to buy batteries for my tape player! The batteries in the NowBible lasted a week then I recharged it & it was ready to go.

You can copy MP3 music files and MP4 video files from your computer to your "NowBible Color" It also supports ACC, ACC+, WMA, MIDI, WAV and AMR file types.

I wondered this myself, however, I think the only way to have both versions is to download the second as a txt file and save it under the ebooks file. It can be done but you would have to save each book of the bible as a seperate txt file. otherwise you would have to scroll through the whole bible to go to a verse or book that you want to read, not worth it. I recommend the dramatized niv. For its purposes, it would be easier to understand and enjoyable to listen to. Hope this helps.

You can download ebooks, however you have to convert it to a txt file. It is not very user friendly but it works. You have a total of 4gb available and an additional 4gb if you by a memory card to insert as well.

Yes, eBooks that are in .pdf format must be converted to .txt, or plain text format, before being downloaded. The NowBible Color contains 4GB of internal memory and has a Micro SD slot which is compatible with up to an 8GB Micro SD card. Complete instructions are contained in the user's guide.
