Bill Rieser was a streetball legend. With a thunderous slam dunk and an intimidating game he earned the nickname "White Jesus," from the East Harlem guys he played ball with. His enormous talent on the court lead to opportunities to play for Eastern Kentucky University. He would have made it to the NBA, but a serious knee injury derailed his career, and instead took him down a self-destructive path of drinking, drug use, and womanizing. But just as things looked their worst, Bill found the true Miracle Worker who changes lives, and his life was never the same again. Today, Bill is the director of Recovery Ministries at Heartland Community Church in Rockford, Illinois.
