answer 1
Yes, we recommend it even for those who are contemplating divorce, with the hope that they will decide to honor their marriage vows and allow God to work through their struggles to accomplish His purposes.

answer 2
My husband and I have been on the edge of divorce. This book has brought back hope and confidence that we should not give up or give in. The enemy is not our marriage but the devil who is trying to use it to separate and kill our marriage. This book would be great in a marriage support group.

answer 3
Yes, but it will challenge your commitment to scripture - it doesn't back down from the fact that God hates divorce - yet there is a compassion and acknowledgement of the pain of a difficult marriage that I find is so often lacking in many books.

This book would most deffinately be helpful to any couples that are struggeling with most any type of marrage issues. It taught me that if I love my spouse as GOD intended and not expect it all to be centered around my happiness, your partner can't help but respect love and do all they can to shower you back with as much vigor as you give them.

answer 5
Well, it depends on where they are in the process. We have used it in a Small Group setting twice. If they are open to the truth about God's plan to make us holy and how he uses lifes situations AND marriage to form us into the image of His Son, then it will be a good read. It will at least give them something to think about. It also speaks of how happiness is not why two people get married. Again, there has to be an openness to really hearing what God says about all this.
