good gift?

I love this book and KNOW it's great! I am wondering if mom's think it's a good Christmas gift, though? I want to give to a few kids of friends'. I'm not a mom, and I don't want to give a gift that they won't enjoy. I think they'd like the book...but is it enough? Thanks.

Even my 12 year old loves this book. I think it's a good choice--one that will be a classic re-read year after year.

I'm a mom and I think this would be a great book for moms to read to their children. Judging by the reviews on this product (4.5 stars with 18 reviews) it looks like there are a lot of other people that also think so.
