Customer Questions & Answers for
Journeyforth A Place For Peter

The rattler coiled and reared, tongue darting, eyes flashing, ready to strike! Peter was clearing an old shortcut through the mountain--a shortcut that would bring new hope to their struggling family farm--but a shortcut that wandered through rattler country...

Peter, the young boy whom readers met in the award-winning Mountain Born, is growing up. A teen-ager now, he struggles to earn his father's trust as he handles the sugaring up in the sugar bush and faces the threat of rattlesnakes on the hill. Old Benji is there to help, but Peter must often work alone, and as he does, he learns for himself that a job well done brings its own rewards. Recommended for ages 9 to 12.
