This instructional DVD accompanies Apologia's sold-separately Exploring Creation with Physical Science, 2nd Edition.

Science can be hard to understand for parents and teen alike! Bring an experienced teacher into your home to supplement your physical science course with this instructional DVD-ROM. Apologia Academy instructor (and homeschool dad) Rusty Hughes will win your teen over with explanations, analogies, and stories he's collected over his sixteen-year career as a high school teacher. With more than nineteen hours of instruction, this DVD also contains video presentations of every experiment from the Exploring Creation with Physical Science textbook so students will know what their results should look like before performing the experiment themselves. There are 16 lectures, one for each module.

Features Include:

  • Lectures for each module broken down by section (one section, experiment, example per video for ease of synchronizing with the textbook)
  • Printable notes containing all math problems from the lectures
  • 19 hours of physical science instruction
  • All experiments from the text on video

    System Requirements:

    You must have a DVD drive on your computer and programs capable of playing .wmv files and .pdf files. Your computer must have a screen resolution of at least 1280x1024. This is a DVD-ROM, and will only play on a computer, NOT a standard DVD-player.

    Textbook, Solutions Manual, and lab supplies are not included.

Yes, this DVD-ROM supplement is designed to be used with either the Textbook Kit (WW336402) or Full-Course CD-ROM (WW236314).

Yes, the experiments are featured on this DVD. If you are required to provide a lab credit, you will want to physically complete the experiments, as well. Also, doing the experiments yourself allows the student a hands-on opportunity to observe the results, which is more advantageous for tactile learners.
