Yes to both! It is dishwasher and microwave safe. Another plus, is that the size is adequate. It's not huge, but it does holds a decent amount of tea or coffee. I am quite pleased with this mug. (This set of Sandy's mugs is larger in size than the other set. The other set, I believe, is too small in size. You will be happy with this set!)

I'm not sure because I purchased this as a gift and plan to put in a gift basket for my 1st lady at Church - after she use the mug I will be more than glad to ask her if it's dishwasher safe and microwable . The Size is a nice deep size mug I would guess from looking at it to be about a 9 to 10 oz mug - It's a beautiful mug and lovely writing on the outsize what I can see through the clear box it came in.

Yes, this mug is dishwasher safe. It holds 15 ounces.
