Crossway Books & Bibles The Most Important Thing You'll Ever Study: A Survey of the Bible, Complete Set (OT & NT with Answer Key)

Using an easy-to-follow study guide format, this overview of the Bible leads students of middle or early high school age through Scripture, training them to grow in knowledge and love for God's Word.

The Bible is often neglected or weakly emphasized in the education of our children. However, author Starr Meade contends that God's Word is the most important thing a Christian will ever study. This introductory overview of the message of the Bible encourages middle and high school students to explore God's Word for themselves.

Available in multiple volumes or as a set, The Most Important Thing You'll Ever Study leads young teens through the story of the Bible chronologically, teaching them about important themes and topics, such as the role of God as the main character of his own story and the relationship between Scripture's divine inspiration and human authorship.

Students can either use the text as a supplementary companion to their own reading of Scripture, or they can simply use the study guide to move through the Bible from beginning to end.

I think so, although the questions are primarily content-related. There's not a lot of life application in them, which you might also want in an adult study. It would still provide a comprehensive overview of the Bible.

Although this resource is designed for 11-15 year-olds, anyone can benefit from it. I grew up in church; memorized Scripture in AWANA; am an avid reader; and have still gleaned much as I've utilized this resource with my children. The fill-in-the-blank format and short commentary really help you slow down and consider what you're reading. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a little help meditating on the Word. It's an excellent resource that helps you see the "big picture"!

Definitely! I am using it as my personal Bible study. I had done so many topical Bible studies over the past year that I felt I needed to go through the Bible from the beginning and a Bible study holds me accountable to that.

The author's daughter commented on my review which I posted on my blog that she was using it with a woman at her church who is a new believer and they were going to use the portion on the book of John.

It is a fill in the blank study, but there's still a lot that you could discuss.

This study is designed for students in Junior High and High School, but could be used for adults that have little to no knowledge of the Bible.
