Publisher's Description

Follow Christian singer/songwriter Tammy Trent as she tells of her beautiful love story turned tragic, still pointing to God as the source of all life and hope.

Theirs was a fairy-tale romance. Her husband, Trent, was Tammy's best friend and business manager. While vacationing in Jamaica in 2001, a routine free diving excursion in the Blue Lagoon turned drastically tragic when Trent never resurfaced. Unfortunately, the following day's events of 9/11 would create an incredible obstacle to Tammy's and her family's efforts to connect and handle these horrendous events.

Tearful prayers pleading with God to make Himself real have been answered, and God is slowly restoring Tammy's joy and hope, as she begins to sing and dance again for Him.

The intent of this book is to tell of the author's, Tammy's, great love for her husband and how she is coping with his untimely death.
Much of the book deals with the courtship of Tammy and Trent beginning in high school, and the love that develops between the two as they work and date before marriage. After eleven years of marriage, Tammy and Trent vacation in Jamaica. Trent goes free diving and never returns.
The rest of the story concerns the fragile condition of Tammy, being alone away from her family and friends, and the isolation, because the accident happened September 10, 2001 and the planes were grounded September 11. Finally Tammy turns to God and the Bible to console her and she overcomes her fears. She returns to her singing career after one year and is able to help others overcome their grief.
Though the book is written in a warm, engaging style, I feel Tammy is a bit too self-centered but does become a stronger Christian due to the influence of her godly husband. I would recommend this book to Tammy's many fans and to younger women for help in their time of grief. -- Dorothy J. Wilson, Christian Book Previews.com
