Just checked through my iTunes and it looks like the Word of Promise audio Bible (Old and New testament) is about 7 gigabytes.
As for time. Depending on you computer and your personal computer savvy, it make take a few hours for you to load everything into your music program if you did like I did and made a playlist for every book. Once you have it in your music program though I think it would take less than an hour to load on your MP3 player.

In order to place these onto an MP3 player all 11 discs have to be loaded onto the computer and then the entire file must be loaded to the MP3 player. The total amount of space needed for all 11 discs is 6.07 GB.

I have mine loaded through iTunes. It is possible to go to a chapter in a book. However if you mean something like search for a phrase, or go to John 14:6, no I don't think that is possible. Going to John 14 though is.

These are listening CDs which are broken down by book and chapter. You cannot search by verse or keyword.

MP3 is a format that data can be coded in. Most new devices are capable of reading MP3 format (both Windows and Mac). Please make sure your device is capable of reading MP3 format before making your purchase.

My WOP cds in mp3 format plays on both my desktop pc and my HP Pavillion Enteraintment pc. I also drop and drag sections to my sony mp3 player so I can listen wherever I go.
My first set of discs had a skip on it. I called Christian Book, they sent me a whole new set that they had checked out before they shipped it to me.

This Audio Bible on MP3 CD will work for any MP3 compatible computer (most newer computers are compatible). It will also work on MP3 playing devices such as an iPod or MP3 player. Since we are not able to accept opened software as a return, you may wish to verify that the devices you are wanting to put the Bible on are MP3 compatible by checking your owners' manuals or with the manufacturer.

can I download it to my PSP?
I have the King James Version of the bible on mp3 format and have it downloaded to my PSP, I take my PSP everywhere and I can listen to it anywhere, but I prefer the New King James Version, this hopefully is what I have been looking for

This is in MP3 format can can be downloaded onto any MP3 player. All 11 discs must first be loaded onto your computer, then the entire file must be loaded to the MP3 player at one time. It uses 6.07 GB of space.
