Please describe the cover.
Please provide details of the cover. The design/color combination make a BIG DIFFERENCE in something as
important as a Bible. There are Bibles I'd really like to buy,
but will not because the cover is ugly--example the Maxwell
Study Bible with the big old M sideways on the cover! Yuck!

Thumb index and weight of book
I have the hardcover version of the Max Lucado's Life Lessons Bible which I love but it is heavy to hold. Is the leather version the same weight? I'd also like to see a picture of the thumb index if possible. Thank you!

Both the hardcover and leather versions weigh 2.7 lbs. We cannot provide an image of the indexing, but they are cutouts in the side of the pages (similar to the grooves in a dictionary) which provide quick access to the different books of the Bible.
