Question

Similar or different to the Bible Knowledge Commentary?

I'm on the fence about the 2-volume Expositors Bible Commentary. How might it differ from the 2-volume Bible Knowledge Commentary, the product of Dallas Seminary faculty? Aside from its being an abridgment, what sets it apart from the BKC? Thanks to anybody who can speak to this question.

In addition to some faculty from Dallas Theologial Seminary, contributors to this commentary include other scholars such as D.A. Carson and James Montgormery Boice who are not Dispensational in background. The commentary will represent a deeper level of scholarship as a abridgement versus the brief commentary offered in the Bible Knowledge Commentary.
