Yes, it's a new addition but from what I understand there have been some significant updates to this new and renamed version.

answer 2
You say that spelling and other errors have been updated in this Bible as compared to the New Defender's Study Bible. Are these corrections to the notes from Dr. Morris or corrections in the Bible text?
Thanks.

The Defender’s Study Bible, published in 1995 and containing 1,620 pages, was enlarged to 2,202 in 2006 and retitled The New Defender’s Study Bible. This new version has larger, easier to read type and 50% more commentary than its predecessor. The Henry Morris Study Bible (2012) is a reprint of The New Defender’s Study Bible, but with corrections to all identified errors (e.g., misspellings, missing words). If you possess The Defender’s Study Bible, you are missing 50% of the notes added to The New Defender’s Study Bible and included with The Henry Morris Study Bible. If you have The New Defender’s Study Bible, you will be missing all the corrections made to it to bring us The Henry Morris Study Bible.
