I notice the red letter versions, especially in the Book of Revelation, have a hard time discerning what should be red (Christ) and what should be black (the Father).
So to make words red or black there, is up to the publisher.
Another strange practice with red letter editions is to color Christ's quotes red when spoken by someone quoting Christ. Christ is not speaking there.
For those reasons, I have no problem with a black letter edition.
