My Bible is 9"x 6". I wouldn't go with a smaller one it would be a little too close together and hard to grab just one tab to turn for each chapter. It would work great even on a larger bible, but nothing smaller.

Any size! You just use the rule guide, cutting based on the size of the Bible. If your Bible is bigger than the largest marked on the rule guide, just photo-copy the rule guide, cut and tape the copy to the original until you get the size you need.

The tabs are very universal you can spread them out or make them overlap. I believe the size of the bible doesnt matter. They are individule tabs you can put them on like you want.

Cut them straight with scissors and they're gone, but they'll still put a bulge on each page as they are sturdy so the part taped to the page will be thicker than all the other pages.

The tabs are easy to remove once if you can get your fingernail underneath them just right. If you press them firmly though they will not come up a second time without ripping the page.

the tabs unfortunately are not removeable - they are thick stickers that fold over on each side of the page - so if you were to try and remove them - the pages would rip. but they are very useful and allow you to find passages easy.

It is next to impossible to remove them, especially if they have been on your Bible for a while already. While I was putting the tabs on a Bible, I misplaced one and had to use a knife to pry it off of the page! I wouldnt recommend trying to remove them!!

Question

Are the 3 epistles of John on 1 tab, or does each letter have its own tab?

Most bible tabs I have seen have combined the 3 John letters onto 1 tab. Does this manufacturer do that?

Yep, one tab. If you want them seperated, just use archival quality tape & make your own other tabs. I have other tabs on my Bible so I can quickly flip to topics like Armor of God quickly.

answer 3
I bought two sets of these tabs - one for my huge amplified Bible that I use at home and one for my tiny pocket msg Bible that I take to church and I love them. Yes they absolutely work - they take maybe 10 minutes to apply properly (straight and on the right page etc) but once there on - they make finding books fast and easy. I no longer flip through page after page looking for books and passages anymore.

answer 4
Yes, you could put tabs on your Bible, but they would not be any faster than the thumb index. You would not want to use the tabs to actually turn to the page, as pulling by the tab may rip the page.
