Accelerated Christian Education Grade 1 Social Studies PACEs 1001-1012, 4th Edition

Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum has Scripture as its foundation, fully integrating biblical principles, wisdom, and character-building concepts into education. Students move at their own speed through the self-instructional "PACE" workbooks. Following the mastery approach, PACEs are formatted for students to complete the exercises found throughout the workbook, take a practice "self test," and conclude with a "final test" (torn out from the center) to measure understanding.

Students will learn about history, government, and geography with ACE's Social Studies curriculum. This set includes Social Studies PACEs 1001-1012, 4th Edition which covers:

  • Reading skills.
  • Discerning objects with wheels, on the water, and in the sky.
  • Globe and map study and reads about Pilgrims and the United States.
  • Respect for the law, obedience to rules and laws, and good study habits.
  • Learning to care for things, that hard work is a virtue, how to share with others, and ownership.
  • Learning about different people and their work and homes and clothing of different climates.
  • Stories about Adam, Eve, Cain, Abel, and Noah; the church and school; God and Jesus; how to give to God; missionaries; and how to pray for leaders.
