The Church That Never Sleeps

It began when a small group of believers stepped out in faith- against all odds - and claimed the Queen of Angels Hospital in downtown Los Angeles for the cause of Christ. Now 200 different ministries in the 400,000-square-foot facility reach out to thousands of inner city residents. Called "The Dream Center," this multi-cultural Christian outreach is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. It thrives in the midst of one of America's toughest gang turfs and most-troubled inner cities, ministering to more than 10,000 people every week. Innovative programs reach out to AIDS victims, the homeless, battered women, drug and alcohol addicts, and abused children-offering hope and chance for a better life. The Church That Never Sleeps shows how God is using this incredible combination of people, facilities, and ideas to heal the hurting - and how others can use this ministry as a model to make dreams come true in neighborhoods across the nation.
