it includes 6 study books which essentially repeat or review what is viewed in the video clips. The purpose of the books seems to be review. The video after viewing, has questions that come on the screen. The questions in the book are not identical but they seem to be asking the reader to contemplate the same truths. The books are supposed to be for review of what has already been seen during the week. You could get away with not using them since they are not required during the group session.
