Questions & Answers for Zondervan NIV Faithgirlz! Bible, Revised Edition

Question

For a 7 year old?

We are planning to get our daughter a Bible for her 1st grade "graduation". She'll be 7 by then. I'm torn between getting her a simple little Bible for now or getting her a really neat one that she will enjoy for several years. She's a good reader, and of course will get better, but what I'm curious about are the girly inserts. Are they going to be way way over a 7 year old's head? I understand of course they are geared toward tweens, but would you think a younger child could get something out of it and have this as a great Bible to grow into?

I also have a 61/2 year old granddaughter that is using a bible called Kids Quest that she got from her Sunday school class. They give these to the lst graders. I think this would be better for her. The other one is for a little older girls.

If your seven year old is a good reader I think she would certainly enjoy this Bible. It's bright colorful and has wonderful features that would be perfect for a young lady to learn about God.

Although this Bible is intended for 9 to 12 year-olds, a mature 7 year-old could probably benefit from the study notes in it. To view sample pages go to CBD stock number WW720591.

It can be but I would advise against it. When imprinting hardcovers the individual letters can quickly start to tear away.

Question about having name put on a hardcover Bible.

I have had a Bible that was an imitation leather material bought by someone and your imprinting could not be done on it .But you did put a metal plate that had the name on put on the front . Could this be done on a hard cover Bible ?

Yes - you could have a name put onto a plate and then attach it to a hardcover Bible. However, you would need to call your order in for this as it cannot be done from the website.
