Questions & Answers for Zondervan NIrV Adventure Bible, Imitation Leather, Blueberry with Turtle

Question

Age appropriate bible for boy turning 10 in August 2012

I would like to buy a bible for a young boy whose first time at church has been this summer (4 days at day camp and 1 week at overnight camp). Never attended any Christian church before. The bible I'm thinking about is "NIrV Adventure Bible, Imitation Leather, Blueberry with Turtle". It says the appropriate age is 6-9, however, this boy has no previous bible teaching. Is this bible appropriate or can you recommend another bible. Thank you.

I teach Sunday school and Bible club. I think this Bible would be a very good choice. It has short backgrounds before each book and explanations of important happenings and a good size of print.

While we think the Bible would be fine for a child in the situation you've described, since you know the child you may want to review the excerpt on our website.
