The Novel unit takes a look at the Red Badge of Courage, The Old Man and the Sea and The Pearl
The Poetry unit analyzes Emerson, Longfellow, Dickinson, Frost, cummings, Auden and others.
This book is designed for teacher directed use, however students may use it on their own. Answers are found at the end of each lesson. 185 pages with glossary of literary terms. This is a college preparatory course which may be used at any high school level.
