The bookmark is printed on glossy card stock. No, they are not laminated. As for strength, I wouldn't play "tug of war" with it, but it is fine for keeping your place in a book.

Books of the Bible bookmarks are not laminated, just regular bookmark cardstock material. I really like the presentation of the books as they are clearly divided and grouped under headings of: Law, History, Poetry, Major Prophets, etc.
Very good learning tool for children.

These bookmarks are made from a glossy thin posterboard. They are not laminated, but you could laminate them.
