Answer key has just the answer, doesn't explain how to get the answer. The solution maual does. If you get the DIVE DVD, the solutions are walked through on the dvd itself, it isn't in written form.

The Answer Key is the answer to everything in the math book including test. You will need this. The Solution Manual are the test and the problems sheets the students need to work on besides them using the text book. I usually buy the whole kit that would include all three books. Hope this helps.

The Answer Key contains bottom-line answers only to the problem sets. The Solutions Manual contains step-by-step solutions to the problem sets. The CBD stock number for the "Saxon Algebra 1 Homeschool Kit with Solutions Manual" is WW329715.

I was not able to purchase Saxon Algebra 1/2 textbook without getting the test booklet and answer key. I even went so far as to locate and speak to the publisher. But, the price of the textbook alone was greater than getting the kit.

No, the Solutions Manual (CBD stock # WW420116) is sold separately. This kit includes 487-page hardcover student text, softcover answer key, and test booklet only. CBD stock # WW443134 includes 487-page hardcover student text, softcover answer key, test booklet and the Saxon Teacher CD-ROM.
