Each chapter of this five-session study of Isaiah includes a purpose statement, the printed Bible passage, a core verse, a modern stiuatio that the Bible passage can help resolve, formative guidance on the modern situation presented by the text, questions for personal reflection, and a closing prayer. An accompanying Teacher Book with tips for preparing the lesson, Bible background, a step-by-step lesson plan, and optional methods for each session is available.

Session one begins with a study of the song of the vineyard. The second session considers the experience surrounding Isaiah's call. The third examines the prophet's words of hope for the people in exile in Babylonia. The fourth ssession looks at the work of God's suffering servant. The final session deals with the ultimate restoration of God's people to joyful, peaceful relationsships.
