answer 1
I have two sons, ages 5.5 and 7. I am pretty particular about what they watch, which is why I buy my videos here. I have not noticed the statue and have no problem with my boys watching this video.

We have watched this movie close to 100 times with my children [boys now 10 & 8 and girls now 6 & 4]. We have never noticed this statue if it is there.

answer 3
There is a scene in which you see a Roman statue of a body from the neck down. The upper half of the body is uncovered, but the lower half is carved as if a swath of material is draped over the figure. The scene is about 3 seconds long. There is also a short scene where scantilly clad Nubians are seen dancing for a festival.
If your sons are very young they may be disturbed by an intense battle scene, where a man is shown with a severed hand, and the chariot race, where people are trampled by horses.
