Is the Music for Little Mozarts made to be used alone or along with formal instruction/ by piano teachers?

I am a homeschool mom and interested in the Music for Little Mozarts program. However, I am wondering if this is something I can use with my children having no piano instruction myself or if this needs to be used in addition to paying for music lessons for my children. They are 3 & 5. Soon to be turning 4 & 6. Thanks.
